The Tech Hype with no ROI
-
We built AI.
-
We built automation.
-
We built digital identity.
-
We built new financial rails.
This should work.
But it doesn’t.
-
systems don’t scale
-
insights don’t materialize
-
costs keep increasing
-
complexity keeps growing
WHY?
Expectation
-
AI managing operations
-
seamless digital onboarding
-
real-time transactions
-
real-time decisions
-
new revenues from old products
-
people and businesses trust the old system
-
technology is going to connect the old systems
Reality
-
unstable outputs
-
fragmented systems
-
delayed or misleading decisions
-
money is moving to alternate channels
-
infrastructures getting heavier
-
systemic failures and vulnerabilities increase
-
technology without an integrated use case design is not going to really connect anything just join and multiply old processes without additional benefit.

AI AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS
AI is powerful.
But uncontrolled AI is dangerous.
-
AI agents operate at machine speed
-
decisions evolve in real time
-
small deviations scale instantly
👉 Without control → instability
Today:
-
engineers are not trained for this
-
businesses don’t understand the risk
-
systems are not designed to handle it
👉 Code alone is not enough
AI & DATA – THE FALSE INTELLIGENCE PROBLEM
AI is only as good as the data it receives.
Organizations:
-
feed historical data
-
expect future insights
👉 This is fundamentally flawed
Tomorrow cannot be predicted
from yesterday’s conditions
Especially when:
-
AI is reshaping jobs
-
financial systems are changing
-
customer behavior is shifting
👉 The result: misleading decisions at scale

DIGITAL CURRENCIES – BUILT WRONG
Bitcoin solved ownership.
👉 But not usability.
-
It cannot:
-
reconcile transactions
-
handle complex financial flows
-
support real-world operations
-
we cannot buy everyday goods with crypto
-
it is not fully interoperable
-
and facing quantum computing threats
Yet today:
👉 better blockchain technologies exist
-
real-time
-
scalable
-
fully transactional
But:
👉 no one knows how to design systems on them
Because everyone learned to repeat the old model.
KYC - EXPENSIVE COMPLEXITY
Banks spend millions on onboarding:
-
Biometrics and ID scanners
-
APIs
-
verification layers
-
document processing
👉 All to replicate something simple
A blockchain transaction can:
-
verify identity
-
secure data
-
transfer information
👉 instantly👉 securely
👉 at near zero cost
Yet: 👉 no one redesigns the process. They just digitize it.

OPEN BANKING - A KYC DEAD END
Open Banking tried to fix access to customer data.
But it:
-
adds layers
-
requires integrations
-
creates cost
-
depends on central control
👉 While 100% free and real time secure solutions already exist
It is:
👉 outdated before full adoption
CBDCs & STABLECOINS - MISSED POTENTIAL
Central banks tried to replicate crypto.
👉 But removed its advantages and kept it with:
-
centralized control
-
fiat dependency
-
no value growth
-
no sovereignty
-
no independence
-
no compatible monetary system designed
And still:
-
limited usability
-
not fit for retail or full economy
-
constrained by outdated tech
👉 Because they use the wrong infrastructure.
Neither of the 2nd generation networks can run transactions of the full economy and be fully interoperable. Not Hyperledger, not Corda, not Ethereum, not Bitcoin...
